Fort Worth is the ‘city of cowboys and culture’, and clients can have a daily taste of the Old West, with a twice-daily longhorn cattle drive – the only one of its kind in the world.
The Cultural District is home to the new Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, which opened on Nov. 20, 2009. The Noble Planetarium, the Cattle Raisers Museum and the Fort Worth Children’s Museum are all contained within the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. Additional museums within the Cultural District include the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, the Kimbell Art Museum, the Amon Carter Museum and the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame. This spring, the Fort Worth Zoo will open a state-of-the-art herpetarium (featuring lizards, snakes and other reptiles), called 'The Museum of Living Art', a new US $19 million building, featuring 125 exhibits and over 900 animals. Count in the numerous places to wine and dine and Ft. Worth offers a wide variety of choices of things to see and do.
